Brett wins NZ TQ Grand Prix
Christchurch driver Ricky Brett made up for recent disappointments by winning the Rolly Inn New Zealand TQ Grand Prix at Equus Ruapuna Speedway last night (Feb 4).
He had to repel several challenges from New Zealand Champion Craig Todd, before he opened up and size able lead, and was never headed.
Gisbornes Dylan McGregor made a last gasp move to grab third ahead of Napier driver Duane Todd, with Tom Lumsden finishing fifth in the 20 car strong field.
 

The action continues tonight (February 5) with the presigious TQ Masters at stake. Support classes are Modified Sprints, 1/4 Midgets, Sidecars, Six Shooter Sprints and Midgets. The gates open at 5, and the dirt starts flying at 7
