This Saturday night the clay will be flying, the drivers will be pumped and the fans will be eagerly awaiting the start of the 2015/16 speedway season at The Rock FM Riverside Speedway.

With a huge season under their belts last year the club has turned alot of their focus in the off season to having a tidy up and coming up with some initiatives to make speedway more family orientated.

This year families will see a larger family designated area with more seating, better off track entertainment, competitions making the entire experience enjoyable for young and old. It's not just off track that the hard work has been put into, during the off season there has been endless hours of work put into the track surface meaning a better racing surface for the drivers, and faster more thrilling racing.

There is also a number of new cars, drivers and liveries across all the grades, with the quality of cars on show a step above what you would have seen last season. Throughout the season the club will run Super Saloons, Saloons, Production Saloons, Youth Saloons, Modified Sprints, Sprintcars, Streetstocks and Stockcars.

Racing this Saturday kicks off at 5pm with double points across all grades and the Gulf Oil Stockcar Rampage guaranteeing a top nights action. Gates open 3pm, Adults $15, children under 15 $2, senior citizens $7 and families $34.
